The ability to easily set up complex visit profiles for customers and deliveries is one of the key features of the MasterRouter route planning software platform.
It is important to establish a way to easily setup visit profiles that match the complexity of your customer contract pool. Each type of customer, after all, is likely to present you with a varying set of visit requirements.
Some customers may work five days a week on a 50-week cycle, while others may have a six-day week. Also, these visit cycles can get fairly complex – requiring accurate and detailed visit profiles to be captured. For example, some customers may allow visits any day except Friday; other customers may want to be visited weekly, but only on a Monday or a Wednesday; other customers may need to be visited twice in a month on any day, but the first visit must be half of the duration of the second visit; and so on. MasterRouter, as part of its extensive set of product features, provides an intuitive interface for setting up large sets of complex customer visit profiles as complex as the above, or more so.
